It says it will fit the .It’s literally the fluted motif dial. It looks best with the fluted bezel. Having handled plenty of these in both bezels, the smooth bezel does nothing for it. I’m personally a huge fan of jubilee+smooth bezel, its an elegant combo. However, I don’t think you can just change the bezel, the fluted one is a white gold while the smooth is a SS. Keep it as is, the smooth bezel of DJ41 is very unique (I prefer it over the 36 smooth bezel although I own a 36)Its timeless 36mm case size, coupled with the iconic fluted bezel and Cyclops lens, creates a harmonious aesthetic that transcends fleeting fashion trends. From an investment standpoint, the Datejust 36 116233 offers a compelling proposition. My personal preference is: fluted bezel —> 36mm. smooth bezel —> 41mm. A 41mm DJ with a fluted bezel would just be a bit too flashy IMO and throw off the classic dress watch look, regardless of your wrist size. 36mm is the perfect, timeless size for that. For instance, changing a Black Dial 36mm fluted DJ to a Blue Dial 36mm fluted DJ would be going from 126234-0015 to a 126234-0051, but Black fluted to Black smooth would be 126234-0015 to a 120200-0005 which Rolex is not ok with.
