Omega’s coaxial movement is arguably better performance wise (it definitely has better finishing) but the design of their pieces are, for the most part, harder to wear.They don't go out of style, they don't get outdated, they're always worth good money and they're incredibly well built. They're so expensive and everywhere because demand is extremely high. Short of Patek and AP, Rolex is the most desirable watch brand on the planet.

And even with the Rolex branding, there are k precious metal Rolexes that don't compete well with other watches in that price range.
