It is not supposed to take regular DOT 4 as the ABS/DSC system requires thinner fluid to function properly. Both Pentosin and ATE make LV DOT 4 brake fluid, but the ATE is cheaper, in case you are able to order new fluid in advance next time. The ATE LV fluid is SL 6.

The main difference is not the solution for setting the 12 h hand, but rather the use of the Parachrome Bleu balance spring, which is less sensitive to magnetism, and produced inhouse.In order to find out if you have the 3185 or 3186 movement, it is always a safe and good way to try the wobble test. If you set the hour-hand separately the GMT hand won’t wobble if it’s the 3186 caliber, if it does then the Caliber 3185 is used for the watch.I finalized my search to be between the 3185 and 3186 movement for an Explorer II Polar 16570. Long story short, the price difference is ~,000. Is the 3186 worth that premium? Overall, both watches are in great condition and this is the only differentiator.The caliber 3186 has a Parachrome Blue hairspring and is only slightly modified to the 3185, which has proven itself to be a highly accurate and reliable movement. As such, the Explorer 16570 is a watch that you could wear and use for many, many years, and it will keep the time perfectly, without servicing it.
