I just looked at my friends Rolex and I noticed his second hand sweeps but it kinda ticks. Not a smooth sweep at all. I just received my Rolex today and noticed that mine sweeps pretty smoothly. Barely ticking! Does this mean his is fake or . Higher frequencies sliced the second into smaller portions, creating a smoother "sweep" and thus the perceived smoothness of the second hand became a shortcut to interpreting the quality of the movement. Pulling the crown out to time setting and pressing the top (start/stop) chronograph pusher advances the chronograph seconds hand minutely, or alternatively you can hold it and after a second it will begin to scroll/spin to advance faster.

The second hand is sweeping just like the watch is in normal mode when I am changing my time. When I pulled out the 3rd crown, it should stop the second hand, however my sub second hand doesn't stop, i need to re try at least 5 times before I can stop the second hand.
